Roots Store

Roots Store

The brief

Designing a store for all who like to bring nature into their garden, balcony and home. The interior should look inviting, a natural environment for an assortment of plants, pots and accessories, and work as a system that can be applied to larger and smaller spaces.

The Approach

Taking inspiration from orangeries and palm houses, we came up with a beam structure that creates an interesting space, divided yet very open. We decided to use authentic materials such as wood, brick and concrete. A clear colour palette and logo were made  for a cohesive brand experience.

The Outcome

An attractive interior design that can be used in various shopping space. Roots has a familiar and warm atmosphere that fits with today’s trends, yet has a timeless quality to it.

Oishi Ramen

Oishi Ramen

The brief

Creating a concept, that serves a small assortment of high quality Japanese Ramen, which can fit in food courts.

The Approach

Ramen is about using the right ingredients and combining them to create a perfect harmony. That is how we approached the overall design as well. Inspired by the simplicity and the concept of wabi sabi (the beauty of imperfection) that are present in Japanese culture, we selected materials and colours that work together. A custom illustration was created as an eyecatcher for passer-by’s.

The Outcome

A clear space where sophistication and playfulness come together for an authentic culinary and visual experience.

Momentum Solar, GGP

Momentum Solar, GGP

The brief

Our client GGP, now Brookfield Properties Retail Group, asked us to assist a tenant with the development of a fresh and unique kiosk design in order to be able to succesfully lease space at several mall properties.

The Approach

After a session with Momentum Solar in which we learned about the product offering and current sales approach, we analyzed the opportunities for the client to make a connection with their target audience.

The main objective was to connect the clients’ call center team with the in-mall activation to create successful leads and book a meeting for a follow up to discuss solar energy possibilities with prospective clients.

The Outcome

3DWD proposed several directions in the form of an interactive barricade, kiosk design and a full-size pop-up format to be used in mall environments. By combining 3DWD’s proprietary Scotti technology (real-time sales assistant) and connecting this with Momentum Solar’s call center by using we can propose a bigger reach without the need to add more people on the shop floor.

This innovative new concept is currently being tested by 3DWD prior to a pilot location.

Porsche Buzzbox

Porsche Buzzbox

The brief

Develop a mobile, reusable and high-quality pop up concept for Porsche that will allow us to be there where our clients are

The Approach

Through various sessions with the client and external stakeholders, 3DWD familiarized itself with the brand and its key customers. The concept we picked was that of a remodeled shipping container, although to be honest…the final product had little to do with that anymore.

The concept includes fully equipped meeting rooms, LED walls and even a custom developed cover to allow for it to travel and maintain its signature Porsche look.

The Outcome

3DWD designed and visualized the concept for Porsche and are looking forward to see these 40’ “BuzzBoxes” throughout luxury events in Europe.
